merry boxing day lol.went out on christmas ytd.and no didn't spend it with sherilyn cause we both have different plans for the day so yea.

went out with the bros.me, joshua and chin how.boon how came later.went to far east plaza to get a tie before heading to suntec to watch the spirit.weird only eng wah cinemas screening that movie.pepper lunch for lunch before the movie.

joshua, me and chin how.

a lesson in romantics.

boon how and joshua.

so yesss the movie i've been dying to watch!the spirit!damn those chicks yo.

wouldn't say it's a really good film but it does grow on you.a slow start but gradually the cool factor kicks in.really campy dialogue and darn funny at times, reminiscene of the old comic books.some might not like it but mind you, the spirit was created back in the 1940s.

samuel l jackson's performance as the octopus was awesome.gabriel macht as the spirit ain't that bad.good looking, goofy but packs a whole lot of punch.reminds me of the cartoon the tick haha.love the effects, especially on his chuck taylor sneakers and how they emphasize his red tie.

and oh who can forget the women of the show?which prominently featured in every single of it's trailers.presenting to you...

sand seref!she's got the curves, the ass and a thing for the bling.the old flame.

silken floss!the octopus's accomplice.so darn hot, i loveee.must be the spectacles.

ellen dolan!who could forget that hospital room make out scene?the spirit's current flame.

plaster of paris!beautiful, deadly and absolutely nuts.exotic accent though.

lorelei rox!the angel of death who reminds me of 300's oracle.

basicall those are the main women in the film.wouldn't consider the rookie cop morgenstern as one of those women.but she's spunky and well, beautiful.

overall, 3 out of 5 popcorns.campy dialogue, ridiculous scenes and some good ol' action.frank miller's vision of the spirit revisits the golden age of comics but with a darker and cooler feel to it.not bad for his directorial debut.

camwhored after the movie.and finally a decent group photo for the day.

let it snow.

after that was dinner at kfc before going to orchard road to soak up the christmas atmosphere.boon how had to go cause he need to report back to camp.so left with me, joshua and chin how again.this year round, the atmosphere was kinda muted.ain't as crazy as the last time i came which was xmas eve 2 yrs back.

went to forum's toys r us.because everyone was on the streets, so the whole place was empty.took pics with the christmas tree, typical of the christmas season.haha.

we were looking ard for some toys to purchase when i did something crazy, which was to buy a spiderman mask.and walk down orchard road wearing it.balls yo!

hey it's christmas pple.it only comes once a year.do something crazy or special to make it unique.so that it's a christmas that worth remembering.and to sherilyn, it's not lame or attention seeking.how supportive of you i guess.

i am spiderman!

i shoot trees!

and donuts too!

your friendly neighbourhood superhero lol.

then we got our chance to walk in the middle of orchard road.because it's closed for vehicles and open to the public.basically they had floats on display, which was nth much.

last but not least.the xmas present.absolute batman: hush from sherilyn.finished reading it quite long ago and i must say, really good shit.jim lee's illustrations is as good as ever, as well as jeph loeb's storytelling.

((:

hush!

alrighty another really long post.a very merry christmas to all again, whatever the way you chose to celebrate it lol.
