watched these 2 movies recently.


burn after reading.the first coen brothers film that i've watch.a political satire cum spy movie.with loads of dry humour.john malkovich's funny as the foul-mouth ex-CIA agent and brad pitt is ridiculously funny as the himbo gym employee.and not forgetting the spineless, sex-driven and paranoid ladies man in the movie, george clooney.

overall 4 out of 5 popcorns.what a dig at CIA. and which movie can srsly make you laugh your ass off with just a portrait of putin in the russian embassy i ask you?


rendition.good movie, with reese witherspoon's role as the wife of the suspected terrorist and jake gyllenhaal's CIA analyst who is torn between duty and personal responsibility being the main focal points.though it's one of those movies that spreads american propaganda by putting them in the good light again.

overall 3 out of 5 popcorns.smth worth watching, but we've seen many movies regarding terrorism, get over it alrd.

out dec 17th.like finally a follow up for 1998's the storm riders (风云).not exactly of a big fan of hong kong mangas but the storm riders was a good movie that i liked.because of aaron kwok's complex striding cloud (步惊云) and ekin cheng's potrayal of whispering wind (聂风).thus the name 风云 because of their last names.

good thing they are back in the sequel directed by the pang brothers.teaser trailer looks much like 300.copy much?
