out dec 17th.like finally a follow up for 1998's the storm riders (风云).not exactly of a big fan of hong kong mangas but the storm riders was a good movie that i liked.because of aaron kwok's complex striding cloud (步惊云) and ekin cheng's potrayal of whispering wind (聂风).thus the name 风云 because of their last names.

good thing they are back in the sequel directed by the pang brothers.teaser trailer looks much like 300.copy much?

so few days back on new year's eve i bought my last toy of 2008.which is the marvel select iron man.modeled after iron man: extremis drawn by adi granov.


one would find this similar to the suit in the iron man film.because adi granov's drawing was the inspiration behind the movie's suit.alrighty, pictures.







imho, the whole package looks sweet.though the headsculpt looks weird.it looks more like the classic iron man rather than adi granov's design.love the paint work and the detailing.don't really like the ball joints at the hip, which is quite prominent.there's also not much articulation as this is more of a display rather than a toy.but still good value for the $35 i paid.

and right now, i just need a good background for taking pictures of my toys.

how 4 guys ring in 2009.probably the craziest new year's eve.cause things didn't went according to plan.







one of those nights.where the last train home is 2am and it's almost empty 12 plus in the morning.where i got home at 1 plus.where i called sherilyn and we talked for hours on the phone.and that pretty much summed up the first things i did in 2009.
